Alumina refinery business sector which is closely related to bauxite mining has a huge potential in Indonesia and globally.<br \/>\nPT. Laman Mining will focus on exploring the vast business opportunities in bauxite mining in Kalimantan, Indonesia.<br \/>\n<strong>Bauxite Reserves<\/strong><br \/>\nAccording to the journal by ESDM (Ministry of Mines and Energy) 2012, there is a total reserve of 3,268,533,344 tons of bauxite ore in West Kalimantan.<br \/>\nKetapang regency has a huge reserve of bauxite ore. The concession of PT. Laman Mining is located at the northern part of Ketapang regency. Within this region, there are many more concessions located at the eastern part of PT. Laman Mining\u2019s concession which is another source to explore.<br \/>\nBauxite ores in Ketapang are categorized under gibbsite and inherits the characteristic qualities with Al<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub> between the range of 35% to 53%, SIO<sub>2<\/sub> between the range of 5% to 26 % (Reactive silica averaging between 3.5% to 5%) and Fe<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub> between 2% to 22%.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PT.
