PT. Laman Mining was established in Ketapang on September 17th, 2009 as one of the subsidiaries of the Supreme Global Investment Group in Indonesia.

Bauxite Reserves
According to the journal by ESDM (Ministry of Mines and Energy) 2012, there is a total reserve of 3,268,533,344 tons of bauxite ore in West Kalimantan.
Ketapang regency has a huge reserve of bauxite ore. The concession of PT. Laman Mining is located at the northern part of Ketapang regency. Within this region, there are many more concessions located at the eastern part of PT. Laman Mining’s concession which is another source to explore.
Bauxite ores in Ketapang are categorized under gibbsite and inherits the characteristic qualities with Al2O3 between the range of 35% to 53%, SIO2 between the range of 5% to 26 % (Reactive silica averaging between 3.5% to 5%) and Fe2O3 between 2% to 22%.
