PT. Laman Mining, Matan Hilir Utara (MHU) District, Ketapang Regency take steps to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in their work environment and surrounding community. One of these efforts includes spraying disinfectants routinely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The representative of PT. Laman Mining, Mr. H Ronald Sulistyanto said, spraying disinfectants in the company’s environment was one of the steps to break the Covid-19 chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Company have a social responsibility to fight the Covid-19 outbreak. Routine spraying is conducted, especially in the company\u2019s environment,” said Mr. H Ronald Sulistiyanto in a release received by Jurnalis.co.id, Tuesday (7\/4\/2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only spraying, PT. Laman Mining has also carried out health checks for the community. And continue to educate the community to maintain a clean and healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYesterday we held free health checks for community, provided vitamins and masks. It is a form of concern from our company, especially the Government has also given an appeal,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, he admitted that the company also applies strict protocols for workers, especially those who work at the port. Before boarding to the mother vessel, they will be inspected and provided with personal protective equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile working on the mother vessel, they are not allowed to have direct contact with the crew. When they come ashore, they will be inspected again and disinfected,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for the CSR program, according to him, it is the obligation of every company to contribute. Both in the form of social activities and in the form of assistance to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We will certainly contribute in CSR program for the benefit of the community. PT. Laman Mining will follow the recommendations of the provincial and regional governments,” he concluded. (lim).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
